HOLE CONTROL™ CLEANSER
Q: What’s the difference between Hole Control™ Cleanser and the original Hole Cleanser®?
A: Our original Hole Cleanser® is innovative, non-ionic gentle cleanser that lifts sweat, odor, and debris without stripping moisture barrier or microbiome.
Hole Control™ Cleanser builds on that formula, incorporating higher concentrations of Horse Chestnut, Stoneroot, and Calendula to soothe and “control” hemorrhoids and fissures while remaining gentle enough for daily use. These Active Ingredients offer relief alonside the skin barrier support of the original Hole Cleanser® formula. It’s also manufactured in an FDA-Certified facility for OTC Certification and reviewed by both a board-certified dermatologist and OB-GYN.
Q: What does “non ionic” mean?
A: When surfactants (cleansing agents) mix with water, they split into tiny, often charged particles. The type of surfactant determines the charge, which impacts how they interact with skin, dirt, and oils.
Anionic Surfactants
negative charge
Foamy, effective at pulling everything off of skin—including natural oils. Can feel drying. Ex: sulfates.
Cationic Surfactants
positive charge
Heavy particles that stick to negatively charged surfaces. Can leave residue. Ex: Hair conditioner.
Non-Ionic Surfactants
no charge
They don’t split into charged particles at all. They attach to oil and water molecules so you can rinse them away. Without an electrical charge, they are the gentlest on skin—less foamy and less irritating. Ex: Hole Cleanser and Hole Control Cleanser.
In other words:
Charged Surfactants = Magnets
They attract or repel particles, to a harsh degree.
Non-Ionic Surfactants = Velcro
They attach to lift dirt and oil without tugging at the skin barrier. Barrier stays intact.
Q: How does this relieve hemorrhoids and fissures?
A: Three active ingredients, proven in clinical trials and centuries of traditional medicine.
1X HPUS Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) — Alleviates Swelling
1X HPUS Collinsonia Canadensis (Stoneroot) — Relieves Anal Irritation
1X HPUS Calendula Officinalis (Calendula) — Promotes Healthy Skin
Q: What is a hemorrhoid?
A: Hemorrhoids are swollen and enlarged blood vessels in the lower rectum and anus, often as a result of straining or bowel pressure from heavy lifting, pregnancy, or sitting for long periods of time.
Q: What is a fissure?
A: A fissure is a tear or crack in the skin or mucous membrane. It can occur anywhere on the body, but it’s common in the perianal area due to overwiping, rough TP, itching, or underlying skin conditions.

A: Our original Hole Serum® is an award-winning daily serum that soothes, hydrates, and strengthens stressed perianal skin. It’s formulated to keep the area calm and comfortable from mild irritation due to wiping, sweat, waxing, sex, and surgical procedures, and to support better-looking skin as part of a head-to-toe routine.

These Active Ingredients pack a stronger punch while preserving the skin barrier-supporting impact of the original Hole Serum® formula. It’s also manufactured in an FDA-Certified facility for OTC Certification and reviewed by both a board-certified dermatologist and OB-GYN.
Q: How is this different from traditional hemorrhoid creams?
A: Traditional hemorrhoid creams are steroid-based medications that temporarily relieve symptoms but cannot be used more than a few days at a time. Even when used as directed, it can thin skin, cause stretch marks and discoloration, and make it more prone to future discomforts.
